With all they mansions she's buying these days, who needs it?
Beyonce and Jay-Z have been making some major real estate moves as of lately: The power couple just purchased the East Hampton's Pond House for just under $26 million, and over the summer, the musicians scored a Paul McClean-designed mansion in Los Angeles for a whopping $90 million.
And now, Bey reportedly parted ways her 44th-floor apartment in Midtown's One Beacon Court. According to the New York Post, Bey discreetly sold the 2,669-square-foot corner apartment in just 11 days for $9.95 million. The apartment was used to host family members and friends—but with the couple's expanding portfolio of enormous properties, who needs it?
The unit features interiors designed by Paris designer Jaques Grange three bedrooms, 3.5 baths, 11 foot ceilings, and is lined with floor-to-ceiling windows—and as such, it's got views of Central Park, the East River, and the city's skyline.
Back in 2011, Beyonce's mother, Tina Knowles, sold her 42nd-floor unit in the same building for $5.1 million. Safe to say, the Knowles-Carter family is moving on from Midtown. (But Bey and Jay still have their Tribeca loft, so they haven't left NYC behind entirely.)
