For $490K, a tiny but livable Upper West Side one-bedroom

The micro pad is located less than a block away from Central Park

Welcome back to The Six-Digit Club, in which we take a look at a newish-to-market listing priced under $1 million, because nice things sometimes come in small packages. Send nominations to the tipline.

Measuring just 400 square feet, it's hard to believe that this lovely Upper West Side co-op is a one-bedroom. In our honest opinion, it's more of an alcove studio but call it what you may, the apartment does makes the most of its space and is asking just $490,000.

Classic details aren't in short supply here: the living room alone features high beamed ceilings, hardwood floors, white painted exposed brick walls, built-in shelves, and a decorative fireplace. The kitchen isn't exactly spacious but does the trick, with stainless steel appliances and a fair offering of wood cabinets.

If you're claustrophobic, this bedroom may not be for you— it is small. But if you're a minimalist at heart and don't require a lot of space, then it may not be too bad. The tiny sleep space boasts exposed brick, a window, and not much else.

There are two custom closets on hand and its location puts it less than a block away from Central Park. Monthly maintenance is going for $1,367.
