Jersey City's first Journal Squared tower is complete

More than 70 percent of the building's 538 apartments have been leased

Six months after leasing got underway at Journal Squared's first Jersey City rental, the building is now more than 70 percent leased, and construction has fully wrapped up on the 53-story tower.

Field Condition recently stopped by at the building and captured some photos of the finished tower, the rental's expansive amenity spaces, and some of the model apartments.

The building contains a total of 538 apartments, with units ranging in size from studios to three-bedrooms. Amenities here include a top-floor sky lounge with views of the Manhattan skyline, an outdoor pool, a gym, a yoga studio, a library, a screening room, and a kids room.

The rental tower, which is located at 615 Pavonia Avenue, is part of a three-tower development by the KRE Group and National Real Estate Advisors. Eventually this megadevelopment will bring 1,838 apartments to Jersey City along with 36,000 square feet of retail, a public plaza, and restaurants.
