↑An Upper East Side carriage house owned by a philanthropic organization, the Laurie M. Tisch Illumination Fund, has hit the market for $21.75 million. The carriage house, part of a set of two, was built between 1903 and 1904 for Henry Harper Benedict, the president of the Remington Typewriter Co. Benedict used the houses at 165 and 167 East 73rd Street for his horses in the early part of the 20th century. Read more…

↑This stunning, three-level apartment, part of the former Brooklyn City Railroad Company Building on Old Fulton Street is now on the market for $1.975 million. The apartment is part of a building that dates back to 1861 and was used as the headquarters the "railroad," which provided horse-pulled trolleys that ran on rails, and provided a vital connection from different parts of Brooklyn.
