↑ A bright and spacious prewar studio in Highbridge is renting for $1,199/month. The apartment boasts some nice moldings, plenty of windows, and judging from the floorplan, there is a spacious kitchen. It's also about 2.5 blocks away from Yankee Stadium.

↑Be warned, this micro studio in Harlem is indeed tiny. According to the listing description, there is a modular hidden bed, a custom closet, and two shared "spa" bathrooms.

↑ For $1,250/month, there's this cozy, renovated studio in Brighton Beach. The space is small but manageable, with three large windows, a kitchen with stainless steel appliances, and a full bathroom.

Douglas Elliman.

↑ In Weeksville, a practical 500-square-foot apartment is renting for $1,225/month. The space is on the second floor of a walk-up and consists of one bedroom, a windowed kitchen, and two large closets.

↑ Lastly we have a basement studio located in a private residence in Hollis, Queens. The apartment is delivered furnished and though it's not the fanciest of places, the $1,250/month does cover all utilities, including cable.
