Yesterday we challenged you to guess the asking price of this railroad-style apartment in Prospect Heights with a quirky layout. While many of the guess fell within close range, non hit the nail on the head, though stache came the closest with a guess of $780,000. The actual asking price is $799,000.

We forewarned that the floorplan was indeed strange but that didn't stop the complaints over the unorthodox, narrow layout. Commenter 1l225 called it "More of a tramway than a railroad," while JEG10021 stated, "...the layout is terrible, and I don't see how the kitchen has the stated measurements."

While this two-bedroom, located on the ground floor of the building at 431 Sterling Place, comes with its challenges, it does possess a few good qualities. There is plenty of closet space, along with additional storage, and whenever things start to feel too cramped, you can take a stroll up to Prospect Park, the Brooklyn Museum, or the Brooklyn Botanic Garden.
