Long Island City's 1,800-unit rental Jackson Park launches from $1,915/month

The Tishman Speyer-developed complex will welcome its first of residents in January 2018

Leasing is now underway on one of three towers that make up Tishman Speyer's massive Long Island City rental complex, Jackson Park. This particular tower has a total of 670 apartments that come in studios through four-bedrooms with prices starting at $1,915/month for studios, $2,335/month for one-bedrooms, $3,555/month for two-bedrooms, $4,745/month for three-bedrooms and $7,310/month for four-bedrooms.

In all, the three towers will bring a total of 1,800 apartments to the neighborhood. The leasing launch is also accompanied by new details on the complex's five-story, standalone amenities building, The Club at Jackson Park. On the first level, there's a lounge with a fireplace, a demo kitchen, a game area with billiards, and a golf simulator. Also on this floor is an outdoor patio with a hanging garden and shuffleboard (whoa!)

A Jay Wright-designed gym takes up all of the second floor, steam and sauna rooms take up the third, as does a 75-foot indoor lap pool, which incidentally is not the building's only pool. There's an additional outdoor rooftop pool. On the floor below that, there are full size basketball and squash courts. Phew!

Clodagh Design was brought on to design the Club as well the lobby and common spaces of the first tower that will see completion, 3 Jackson Park. Mack Scogin Merrill Elam Architects designed the exteriors of the three towers, and Hill West Architects worked on the interiors. Additionally, a two-acre park connects all three towers, and was designed by HMWhite.

The first set of residents will begin moving into the 44-story 3 Jackson Park (28-10 Jackson Avenue) in January 2018, and leasing on the other two towers is expected to get underway sometime in the spring. The 53-story 2 Jackson Park (28-34 Jackson Avenue) contains 650 apartments, and the 42-story 1 Jackson Park (30-02 Queens Boulevard) will have 550 apartments.
