Big reveal: $769K for a small, updated Soho co-op

Did you guess the correct asking price?

There were a lot of guesses for this week's Pricespotter apartment, a small one-bedroom in Soho, and two people came very close, though no one got the exact asking price. That figure would be $769,000, and the two commenters who came closest were Views4Days, with $770,000, and Eulipian guessed $766,000.

But here at Curbed NY HQ, we play by The Price is Right rules, which means Eulipian is this week's winner.

The apartment itself is located at 124 Thompson Street, a "boutique six-story cooperative" (per the listing) just south of Houston Street. As we previously noted, this particular pad is likely on a high floor—the description previously stated that it was "well worth the walk up," but that appears to have been removed. Still, it's a true one-bed with nice custom features.

Commenters, however, were less than impressed by the kitchen, which our winner compared to "college dorm room kitchenette nightmares."

"I can't really figure out if I like it or not," acfs said. "The kitchen is really only good for takeout, there's not enough closets, but the windows are big and I like the brick and the flooring."

Let's look at the floorplan one more time:
