Fashion scion’s sprawling Park Avenue aerie wants $18M

The home comes with a terrace nearly as big as the apartment itself

The son of fashion icon Salvatore Ferragamo has listed his enormous Park Avenue apartment—which comes with a terrace that's nearly as big as the place itself—for $18 million, according to the New York Times.

Massimo Ferragamo, now the chairman of Ferragamo USA, has lived in the place since the 1990s—it was created by combining two smaller units—but per the Times, he and his wife are planning to spend more time in Italy. "The apartment is just too big for us and we do not need so much space," he told the paper.

And it is quite a large apartment: The 5,800-square-foot pad, a duplex located on the eighth and ninth floor of 655 Park Avenue, has five bedrooms, seven bathrooms, an eat-in kitchen, a gym, a solarium, a library, and staff quarters. The master "suite" is its own huge space, with two walk-in closets, two bathrooms, and a library.

The terrace, which itself spans 3,000 square feet, is the crown jewel—it overlooks Park Avenue, and has a covered enclosure, as well as "lounging and eating areas," per the Times. "We truly enjoyed spending time in our outdoor space together and using it to entertain friends," Ferragamo told the Times—and if you have $18 million, you might be able to do the same.

Ryan Serhant and Chase Landow of Nest Seekers have the listing.
