Holly Hunter lists striking Fort Greene brownstone for $4.5M

The 19th century Italianate brownstone is located less than half a block away from Fort Greene Park

Academy Award-winning actress Holly Hunter has listed her charming Italianate brownstone for $4.5 million. The New York Post first reported on the Fort Greene home, which is located on South Oxford Street, less than half a block away from the neighborhood park.

Though Hunter isn't listed on the property records, the 19th century brownstone last traded hands in 2014 for $3.3 million, which is likely what the actress paid to purchase the four-story brownstone.

While the townhouse has many modern finishings, it has still managed to retain much of its historic charm in the form of its five decorative fireplaces that come with original mantels; the original inlaid wood floors; and the combination of the tile backsplash and warm wooden cabinetry and counter space in the kitchen.

In terms of outdoor space, the townhouse has a front patio, and a deck at the back of the parlor floor that overlooks a spacious backyard. In all, the townhouse has four bedrooms, and three bathrooms.
