The 25-story building is close to topping out and will launch sales later this month
Just weeks ahead of the sales launch for its City Hall Park-fronting condo, developer Urban Muse has unveiled a series of new renderings of One Beekman. The New York Times first published these renderings, which give us a better picture of the facade of the building, and many of the interior spaces.
The 25-story condo is designed by Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners, and is now close to topping out, according to the Times. The new exterior rendering of the building shows off the textural detail of the windows and the facade, more so than the previous renderings for the project. Graham Stirk, one of the partners at the architecture firm and the lead designer on the project, described the northern facade of the building as having walls of windows framed by aluminum and perforated copper screens, according to the Times. This look is supposed to reference the cast iron architecture of Soho (though to be clear, the building is in the Financial District).
The building at One Beekman will hold just 31 condos with prices starting at $2 million and going up to $14 million for a four-bedroom penthouse. Nearly half of the apartments here will have outdoor spaces that look out on to City Hall Park. Some of the other features of the units here include white oak plank flooring, Miele appliances in the kitchen, and marble counters, all of which you can see in the rendering below. Compass is handling sales and marketing on the project.
As for the amenities, they include a fitness center, a yoga studio, a common outdoor space, and an entertainment space, all of which will be located on the building's fifth floor. Below that, there will be offices on two floors, and retail on the bottom two floors. Construction is expected to wrap sometime in the summer of 2019.
