Five apartments and three different boroughs to choose from
Welcome to a semi-regular feature, Price Points, in which we pick a relatively low asking price and a type of apartment, then scour StreetEasy to find the best available options around the city. Today's task: apartments asking $650,000 or less.
↑ In Bushwick, a one-bedroom loft, with a railroad-style layout is asking $650,000. The lower level hosts the living room, open kitchen, and bedroom, while there is an elevated sleeping loft with seven-foot-high ceilings. Other finishes include a floor-to-ceiling bookcase, built-in storage, brick walls, a functioning fireplace, large windows, and soaring ceilings. [Floorplan]
↑ In Sunset Park, there is this light and airy two-bedroom abode that's going for $615,000. The co-op has been fully renovated and features a pocket door that leads into the living room, a sunny kitchen with white cabinetry, and sound-proofed bedrooms that receive lots of natural light. Maintenance is just $300 a month.
↑ This Yorkville co-op has a good amount of space, and is asking $629,000. It's a true one-bedroom with a large living room, eat-in kitchen, and a bedroom that could easily fit a king-size bed. One potential issue: There's not a ton of closet space, but storage and the foyer and near the bedroom—plus built-ins in the living room—could offset that. [Floorplan]
↑ In Kips Bay, a modest one-bedroom that's been nicely updated is asking $625,000. The kitchen would be well-suitedfor someone who likes to cook; there's plenty of counter space, and the appliances are all new. Location-wise, this one is a short walk to the 6 at 28th Street. [Floorplan]
↑ If you want to get a bit more bang for your buck, this Woodside three-bedroom would suffice. The kitchen, living, and dining rooms all flow into one another, and the place has gotten a bunch of modern upgrades, including new kitchen cabinets and sleek bathroom finishes. It's asking $615,000, with $963 monthly maintenance. [Floorplan]
