Did you guess correctly?
This week's Pricespotter apartment— a light-filled one-bedroom in Williamsburg that's been gut renovated— is asking $998,000. Kudos go out to Jf2262 and betamode for guessing the correct asking price.
The apartment is housed in an elevator building along Broadway between Kent and Wythe avenues. Up until 2005, the property functioned as a hotel before being transformed into a boutique condo building.
Reactions to this condo were pretty positive overall. Nonetheless, many guesses were far below the actual price, with many people pitching guesses in the $600,000 range. "I love the gray-washed floors, the kitchen cabinets are nice too...The layout avoids that square next to a rectangle thing, lots of light, a balcony is a plus," wrote Trilby16. On the other hand, modmother wasn't impressed, calling the place "small and dull."
