Brooklyn Bridge Park’s Pier 6 condo finally hits the market

The pricey condos feature stunning views of Brooklyn Bridge Park and the skyline

After unveiling new renderings in April that gave potential buyers an idea of what to look forward to, Quay Tower, the 28-story residential building that has taken shape at Brooklyn Bridge Park's Pier 6 has officially launched sales.

Developers tapped ODA's Eran Chen for the building's facade while AD 100 team Marmol Radziner designed the interiors, which include residences with private elevators, designer kitchens with white oak cabinetry, and floor-to-ceiling windows with crisp views of the city's skyline. The building will offer a nice amenity package that will include a fitness center that overlooks the park, a children's playroom, a "pet wash," a music practice room, and two rooftop lounges for entertaining.

As expected, the RAL Companies and Oliver's Realty Group-developed building is home to 126 luxury condos with high-end finishes and price tags to match. The first wave of sales launches had brought forth 13 condos that range in size from a 1,214-square foot 2BR/2BA for $1.95 million to a five-bedroom abode that encompasses more than 3,700 square feet and is asking $7.92 million.

A mixed-income rental building on the rise alongside Quay Tower at 15 Bridge Park Drive will offer 40 market-rate apartments and 100 affordable units.

The development project has managed to overcome its legal hurdles, with the Brooklyn Heights Association announcing in March that it would no longer pursue litigation seeking to stop the site's development, after alleging that the the Brooklyn Bridge Park Corporation, who owns the site, was in violation of its commitment to build as little housing as was needed in the park to fund its upkeep when it introduced the Pier 6 development.
