UPDATE 6/20/2018: Katie Couric has sold her five-bedroom Upper East Side co-op for $7.785 million, Curbed has learned through a tipster. Property records indicate that the sale closed last week. The closing price wasn't too far below Couric's ask of $8.25 million.

Journalist Katie Couric is parting ways with a piece of Upper East Side real estate. Page Six reports that the former Today Show anchor has listed a co-op at 1155 Park Avenue, where she's lived for more than a decade.

The apartment is a five-bedroom spread in what the listing says is a "white glove, full-service co-op," with a "semi-private" elevator, a laundry room, a formal dining room and an "unusually large" eat-in kitchen (it's probably the best room in the apartment), and more.

According to the Post's sources, Couric is parting ways with her Park Avenue apartment because "Katie raised her family in the Park Avenue apartment" but is ready to move on in her new space.

Couric and her husband, financier John Molner, recently purchased a 3,966-square-foot pad at 151 East 78th Street, the Peter Pennoyer building that also counts Simon Cowell as one of its residents. That apartment, which cost the couple $12 million, has four bedrooms, custom finishes, and other plush perks.
