Marlon Wise's Blog: Pod Hotels’s micro-apartments in Times Square flagship are now renting

There are three different layouts to choose from and rates begin at $4,000/month

The new Times Square flagship location for the Pod Hotels brand is ready to begin welcoming guests to its 45 apartments.

The micro hotel brand announced that the "Pod Pads," as they are being called, are officially available for booking. The units range in size from 600 to 800 square feet, with three different layouts that include a one-bedroom, one-bathroom; and two types of two-bedroom, two-bathrooms— one option with a living room and kitchen and the other without. Rates start at $4,000/month and guests can stay for up to four months at a time.

The apartments embrace a mid-century modern design concept that includes walnut wood floors, floor-to-ceiling windows to optimal light, and the occasional pop of color to enliven the space. Guests also get to enjoy access to a decent amenities that include a fitness center and an indoor/outdoor guest lounge on the top floor of the building that offers stellar views of the Hudson River and the skyline.
