The Beekman’s 51st floor penthouse has views for days, wants $13M

The 360 degree views are enhanced by this top-floor apartment's floor-to-ceiling windows

Two years after sales launched at the Beekman Residences—the 51-story condo building behind the revamped Temple Court, now known as the Beekman Hotel—the building has now unveiled its top-floor penthouse.

Measuring 3,554 square feet, the three bedroom, three and a half bathroom penthouse is now on the market for $12.995 million. The obvious standout feature here: the views. Thanks in large part to its floor-to-ceiling windows, the apartment has 360 degree views of the New York City skyline including One World Trade Center, and both the East and Hudson Rivers.

Like the other 67 apartments in the building, the interiors in this full-floor penthouse were also designed by Thomas Juul-Hansen. The apartment features 16 foot tall ceilings, and has seven and a half inch wide oak flooring. The living room here is nearly 50 feet long and comes with a marble fireplace. The kitchen next to it has textured metal cabinetry, a kitchen island, and tons of Miele appliances.

The kitchen also has access to a tiny terrace—though its not yet clear where that gap in between the two sections of the terrace leads to (or if its just a glass panel). Curbed has reached out to the brokers for clarification.

Moving on to the bedrooms—all three have ensuite bathrooms. The master bedroom here has access to two walk-in closets, and the master bathroom has radiant heated marble flooring, limestone walls, a steam shower, and a free-standing soaking tub, among other features.

The future buyer of this penthouse will also get what's called The Beekman Black Card—this provides access to services at the Beekman Hotel including priority reservations at the restaurants run by Keith McNally and Tom Colicchio, at the hotel.

Aside from this penthouse, The Beekman has another penthouse on the 50th floor, which sold in 2016.
