5 open houses on the Upper West Side to check out this weekend

Get a look at these studios, one-, and two-bedrooms

Welcome to the weekly Open House Tour, because who doesn't love a little real estate gawking? This time around, we're looking at what's on the market on the Upper West Side.

Stribling

$599,000 can buy you this alcove studio that can be converted to a one-bedroom. The 430-square-foot apartment features hardwood floors throughout, high ceilings, a sizable windowed kitchen, and a reasonable amount of natural light. Common charges are just $283/month. [Floorplan]

When: October 20 and 21 (12 p.m. to 2 p.m.)

William Raveis Real Estate

This sleek, stylish, and sunny co-op along West 73rd Street measures 600 square feet and offers oversized windows, beamed ceilings, an open kitchen with stainless steel appliances, and a bedroom with five windows. The building is just a block away from Central Park and maintenance goes for $1,315/month. Asking price is $750,000. [Floorplan]

When: Sunday, October 21 (1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m.)

Head to Central Park West, where a light-filled one-bedroom is asking $925,000. There is an open-concept living/dining room, a windowed kitchen (that appears to be very narrow) with black cabinetry, a revamped bathroom, and a washer/dryer. Monthly maintenance will run you $2,110. [Floorplan]

When: Sunday, October 21 (1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.)

Corcoran

This quirky apartment is depicted as a combination of two units within a brownstone co-op and is going for $995,000. Since the units are not combined yet, there's no cohesiveness in place yet, however, at minimum, you would get two bedrooms, 2.5 baths, a full kitchen, a dining yard, and a private outdoor space. Monthly maintenance is steep at $2,247. [Floorplan | Floorplan II]

When: Sunday, October 21 (11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.)

Douglas Elliman

And for a splurge, there is this one-bedroom, 1.5 bathroom duplex along West 70th Street that's seeking $1.1 million. Its highlights include 18-foot ceilings, framed windows, built-ins, an updated windowed kitchen, a spacious living, and an upper level that looks on to the lower level. Four closets provide lots of storage space and common charges are $1,157/month. [Floorplan]

When: Sunday, October 21 (12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.)
