The 12-story building at 810 Fulton Street also has 290 market-rate rentals
A Fort Greene rental that replaced a parking lot on Fulton Street has now launched the lottery on its affordable units. The 12-story building, which is being developed by RXR Realty, has a total of 73 affordable rentals up for grabs.
The affordable units come in studios through two-bedroom variants with prices starting at $913/month. Of the total affordable units, 22 are studios, 36 are one-bedrooms, and 15 are two-bedrooms. The one-bedrooms are renting for $980/month, and the two-bedrooms are asking $1,183/month.
For additional fees, tenants in the affordable units will have access to parking, bike storage, a fitness center, an on-site resident manager, and a 24-hour attended lobby. Prospective tenants have until December 20 to apply.
Aside from the affordable rentals, the building also has 290 market-rate rentals, however a leasing date has not yet been announced for those. RXR acquired this site from GFI Development back in 2016. The latter had already broken ground on the project, but decided to shift its attention to a condo building. The rental development is estimated to have cost $200 million to build.
