The Victoria's Secret vet has been trying to sell the apartment since 2013
Update: Five years after initially putting her home on the market, Victoria's Secret supermodel Adriana Lima has finally sold her two-bedroom condo in Midtown.
According to the New York Post, Lima sold the 2,200-square-foot abode for much less than its $5.5 million asking price. However, the $3.3 million sale price wasn't too much of a decrease from Lima's most recent asking price of $3.5 million. Lima purchased the apartment in 2003 for $1.99 million.
Seasoned Victoria's Secret model Adriana Lima is making a second attempt at selling her two-bedroom Midtown apartment, reports the Wall Street Journal. The Brazilian beauty originally listed the pad for $4.85 million back in 2013 but will now seek to unload the property for $5.5 million.
Lima and former husband, retired NBA player Marko Jaric, bought the apartment at Metropolitan Tower on West 57th Street back in 2003 for just $1.995 million. They used the apartment as a pied-a-terre, but realizing it hadn't been getting as much action, they both agreed the best thing to do was sell it.
The condo measures 2,200 square feet and features a den that can be converted into a third bedroom, two-and-a-half bathrooms, a chef's kitchen with custom cabinetry, and floor-to-ceiling windows with Central Park views. The building touts white glove service along with a renovated fitness center, massage therapy, 40-foot swimming pool, parking, and an exclusive restaurant reserved for residents only.
