Upper East Side

A renovated two-bedroom apartment on East 99th Street is renting for $2,300/month. Some older elements remain—exposed brick, mostly—but the kitchen has new appliances and cabinetry, and the bathroom is also brand new. It's located between Lexington and Third avenues.

Astoria

In Astoria, a 700-square-foot two-bedroom close to Astoria Park is going for $2,295/month. The apartment is located on the first floor, and has a large living room, a kitchen with plenty of storage space, and two true bedrooms. The apartment itself is a bit of a walk from the subway—the Astoria Boulevard stop is a little less than a mile away—but the Astoria landing for the NYC Ferry is a half mile away.

East Village

A one-bedroom in the East Village—Alphabet City if we're being technical, since it's between Avenues C and D—is renting for $2,300/month. The rooms themselves aren't exactly huge, but the space is workable; plus, the kitchen is separate from the rest of the space.

Cobble Hill

A studio apartment in Cobble Hill is going for $2,300/month. It's not a large space—the kitchen and living/bedroom area are one large space, and there's one bathroom—but it's bright, with a good amount of storage space. And the location—on Pacific Street near Clinton Street—can't be beat.

And finally, in Rego Park, a new one-bedroom with one bathroom is renting for $2,295/month. It's located on the first floor of a detached house, and has a new kitchen (with washer/dryer) and bathroom, as well as a nicely sized bedroom. There's also parking on-site, as well as private storage.
