A two-bedroom apartment close to Seward Park is renting for $3,000/month. In addition to those two bedrooms, the apartment has new kitchen appliances, a washer/dryer, and plenty of exposed brick. The building is located on Essex Street, just a short walk from the East Broadway stop on the F line.

What does $3,000/month rent in a brand-new Queens building? At Halletts Point in Astoria, it rents a one-bedroom apartment with huge windows, plenty of closet space, and modern appliances. (Of note: $3,000/month is the net annual rent, after a one-time free month is applied to the regular price.) The building is close to a NYC Ferry stop, but about a mile from the Astoria Boulevard subway stop.

In Greenwood (or Greenwood Heights?), a one-bedroom that occupies the ground floor of a small house is renting for $3,000/month. Despite having only one bedroom, the apartment is pretty spacious—about 925 square feet—and has access to a backyard. It's located on Fifth Avenue, a couple of blocks from the R at 25th Street.

For $2,995/month, there's a one-bedroom in a co-op building smack in the middle of Chelsea. The kitchen has new appliances and plenty of cabinet space, and there's a lovely decorative fireplace in the living room that adds character. It's located on West 21st Street between Seventh and Eighth Avenues.

And finally, in Dumbo, an apartment that could charitably be called a junior one-bedroom is renting for an even $3,000/month. The bedroom area isn't huge, but on the bright side, the apartment is relatively new, with modern appliances and big windows. It's also in a prime location: on Jay Street close to the F at York Street.
