Jackson Heights

Location-wise, it's close to shops and restaurants on Northern Boulevard and a 10-minute walk from the closest subway station.

It's close to two subway stops and several parks; the bedrooms are large, with decent closet space; and there's a big kitchen with eat-in potential. It's located on 158th Street close to Amsterdam Avenue.

Bay Ridge

And finally, a one-bedroom co-op in Bay Ridge is going for $360,000. The living room and bedroom are on opposite sides of the apartment, with the kitchen and bathroom in the center. There are five closets and plenty of room for more storage, and the building has a laundry room and a courtyard. It's also close to Shore Park on one side, and the R train on the other.
