Inside Gwyneth Paltrow’s ‘ethereal’ Tribeca loft, now asking $10M

The nearly 4,000-square-foot apartment was initially listed for $14.25 million

Gwyneth Paltrow's swanky Tribeca loft reappeared on the market this afternoon, sporting a major price chop to $9.95 million and bringing with it the most extensive look into the apartment to date. The condo on Greenwich Street was first listed by the Goop head honcho just one week shy of a year ago for $14.25 million. (h/t LLNYC)

It isn't the first time the nearly 3,900-square-foot loft underwent a price chop; just one month after being listed in 2016, the apartment's asking price was rolled back to $12.85 million. Paltrow and her ex-husband, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, purchased the apartment for $5.1 million in 2007, per city records. (They split—sorry, "consciously uncoupled"—in 2014.)

Since picking up the pad, Paltrow has enlisted interiors dream team Roman & Williams to completely rework the space. The interiors duo have described their work on the three-bedroom loft thusly:

For an actress, her musician husband, and their children, Roman and Williams completed a total stripdown to stud and redesign of what was fundamentally a drywall box (with good light). Designing and coordinating all interior architecture and custom decoration of the project with sheer energy and completely rule of everything mundane. With light use of mouldings, glassy paint and fuzzy nap zones they embedded this Tribeca apartment with gravitas, care and lllluuuuxury making it suitable for both entertaining and for the needs of a young family.

After years of only fleeting glances inside, today we see what exactly lllluuuuxury means to the Paltrow-Martin clan—per the listing, an "ethereal palette" of whites, lavenders, and grays; muted silver wallpaper; and an assortment of crystal chandeliers that would make any ABC Carpet & Home lover green with envy.

The listing goes on to artfully describe the intricacies of the interior, which includes a "sofa swing, wrought from an antique Indian door" and a "stately master suite" that is a "sprawling, yet serenely intimate space."
