For $995K, a Boerum Hill duplex with a light-filled atrium

It comes with a decent amount of outdoor space

Welcome back to The Six-Digit Club, in which we take a look at a newish-to-market listing priced under $1 million, because nice things sometimes come in small packages. Send nominations to the tipline.

Behind the facade of an adorable clapboard house in Bergen Street lies this nifty condo, which only just makes it into the Six-Digit Club with an asking price of $995,000. It's a two-bedroom duplex, with an master suite on the lower level and common spaces and a second bedroom on the top level.

It also has an abundance of light, thanks to the atrium just off the kitchen that overlooks a small deck and a shared outdoor space. (If we're being honest, this is what swayed us on the place—well that, and the fact that it's in a charming rowhouse.)

Granted, there are surely some quirks to the place; not everyone loves a duplex (and the bathroom on the lower level is only a half-bath), and there are some odd angles to the place. (Plus, it is nearly $1 million.) But it's cute, pretty spacious, and the monthlies are low ($438 for taxes and common charges), so that's something.

The current listing doesn't have a floorplan attached (yet), but here's one from an older listing:
