Did you guess the correct asking price?
This week's Pricespotter didn't fool commenters with its ornate woodwork, in fact one commenter came pretty darn close to the apartment's asking price. This Park Slope apartment is on the market for $849,000, $500,000 less than commenter Eulipian guessed.
A few new details about the apartment: It's located at 509 Second Street between Seventh and Eighth avenues, and is a fourth-floor walk-up. And to recap: The apartment calls itself a two-bedroom though commenters agree that it's best a one-bedroom with a proper living room. The kitchen is definitely due for an update, "a full gut job," as Adastros C says. We can only imagine the bathroom, which goes unpictured, is also in the same category.
On the upside, the 82-foot-long apartment comes with glorious inlaid parquet wood floors, baseboard and window moldings, two built-in hutches in the dining room, and a stained glass interior window.
The apartment is on the market with Debra Bondy of Compass. Take one last look, below.
