It's been a long time since Soho was the epicenter of New York's arts scene, but every once in a while an artists co-op pops onto the market that harks back to the Soho of the 1970s. Such is the case with the new-to-market seventh floor co-op at 46 Great Jones Street, a 2,000-square-foot floor-through spread where the kitchen blends into the living area and studio space, all looked over by a handful of skylights.

The space is dreamy, and rife with potential. The apartment is configured as a two-bedroom but the brokerbabble notes it could easily be converted into four, if studio space is of no concern. The apartment lets out onto an unfinished rooftop that looks over Soho. Not mentioned in the listing: The opportunity to be neighbors with artist Chuck Close, who owns a $6 million condo at 48 Bond Street and keeps studio space at 20 Great Jones Street.
