Live in Jon Hamm’s sunny Upper West Side co-op for $15K/month

The Mad Man is renting out his well-lit two-bedroom

Jon Hamm is parting ways with his Lincoln Square penthouse — at least, temporarily. As has been well and tragically documented, the Mad Man and his longtime girlfriend, actor/writer Jennifer Westfeldt split up in 2015, which, 6sqft speculates, could by why Hamm has now put the Upper West Side digs up for rent.

It is not cheap, living in the Hamm house — the two-bedroom, two-bath abode is listed with Corcoran for $14,995/month, not including Jon Hamm — but the place is rather appealing, in a bright-white sort of way.

Hamm and Westfeldt picked up the co-op back in 2013 for $2.5 million, transforming it from what looks to have been a very apartment-looking apartment into the airy space you see today.

At 1,000 square feet, it is not a palace, but it does feature an open layout, a master bed with an en suite bathroom, a wood-burning fireplace, and two well-appointed terraces. The one-time sunroom has been transformed into a breezy dining room for ten (with two skylights), and the fully renovated kitchen includes all-brand name appliances, from the Bertazzoni range to the custom Bosch dishwasher and Sub-Zero fridge. For atmosphere, there is a Sonos sound system with built-in speakers in every room.

And the location isn't bad, either: the Rosario Candela-designed building is less than a block from Central Park.
