Luciano Pavarotti's Central Park South pied-a-terre has finally found a buyer, three years after it was first listed on the market. The famed opera singer died in 2007, but it wasn't until 2014 that his widow decided to sell the two-bedroom apartment on the 23rd floor of the famed Hampshire House building.

It was asking $13.7 million at that time. Two years later, the price had been slashed to $10.5 million, but still no buyer came forward. The apartment finally sold in a private sale last month for $9 million, according to the New York Times. The new owner of the apartment is Alva Craft, according to property records, a singer who was married to the late American conductor, Robert Craft.

Pavarotti's pied-a-terre was briefly offered as part of a combo sale in 2016 for $20.5 million, but that didn't find a buyer either. As for the apartment that sold, some of the standout features there include the 10.5' beamed ceilings, the oak herringbone floors, and the views of Central Park, and the Midtown skyline.
