Peek at five different apartments in varying sizes at 15 Hudson Yards
A year and a half after sales got underway on the first condo at Related and Oxford's Hudson Yards megaproject, the over 900-foot-tall skyscraper is now showing off a group of model apartments, albeit in virtual reality. Luckily for us, that means we get to see more than just the renderings, and explore what these different layouts might feel like when they're complete.
The VR tours offer a peek at five different model residences in the building: a four-bedroom, four and a half bathroom unit that measures 3,058 square feet on the 69th floor; a four-bedroom duplex penthouse on the 88th floor; another four-bedroom penthouse on the 83rd floor; a three-bedroom, three-bathroom home on the 39th floor; and finally a three-bedroom home on the 73rd floor.
For the VR project, the developers selected a team of five interior designers to create each of the model homes namely Joe Nahem, Shawn Henderson, Kelly Behun, Beth Martin, and the interiors firm Dufner Heighs. Head on over to the VR tours website to explore the units in detail.
The building topped out at 917 feet in February this year, and is gearing up for an opening in spring 2019. More than 50 percent of the condos here have sold, a representative for the project informed Curbed. The project was designed by Diller Scofidio + Renfro in collaboration with Rockwell Group, and will be the first residential building to be complete within Related and Oxford's Hudson Yards megaproject.
