The development has a total of 38 condos that come in two to four-bedroom variants
Earlier this year, developer DNA Development announced plans to convert two single room occupancy (SRO) buildings on West 71st Street into a boutique condo development. Now just five months later, the project at 350 West 71st Street has launched sales with apartments asking from $1.725 million.
The seven-story condo will have a total of 38 condos up for grabs, but at present the building's website lists seven. The priciest among the currently available crop is one of the building's penthouses, which is a three-bedroom, two-bathroom unit with a nearly 1,500-square-foot private terrace, that's on the market for $3.995 million.
DNA Development has brought on DXA Studio to design the boutique condo, and typical apartments here will have kitchens with Miele appliances, marble countertops and backsplashes, and white oak cabinets; master bathrooms will have gray satin lacquer vanities with polished nickel trim, along with marble counters and floors; and the apartments overall will have white oak floors and large wood-framed windows. Many of the apartments will also have private outdoor space, which is being created as part of the revamp.
The condo's list of amenities includes a library with built-in window seats and a sound system; a fitness center with Peloton cycling equipment; a children's playroom; and an expansive, landscaped roof terrace.
The developer has contracted Stribling Marketing Associates to manage sales and marketing at the condo. Construction is expected to wrap in the first quarter of 2019.
